We are excited to announce a new member of FilAmSports team, Levi Jung-Ruivivar (@levi.jr_gymnast).
Levi is 17 years old and is a Philippine Sr. National Team Member, repping the Philippines in the 19th Asian Games. Known for her beauty, elegance, artistry and expressiveness, Levi has been training as an elite gymnast since she was 7 years old. Identified by USAG at an early age, Levi is a 2024 Olympic hopeful, and by the time she turned 12 was the youngest athlete at The National Training Camp, being coached alongside Simone Biles, Suni Lee and Jordan Chiles.
Levi enjoys being in front of the camera, and is at home talking to the press. She comes by it honestly, as both her parents and grandfather have roots in the entertainment industry. Levi is the daughter of Filipino American actor Anthony Ruivivar and granddaughter of legendary Filipino musician Tony Ruivivar of the multi award winning “Society of Seven” in Hawaii. Her grandfather was an outstanding member and pillar of the Filipino community and has done much for Philippine-American relations entertaining millions at his showroom in Waikiki for over 50 years.
Anthony, her father, is a Fil-Am trailblazer starting in the New York theater scene and ending up in Los Angeles starring in films such as Starship Troopers, the Adjustment Bureau, Tropic Thunder and TV shows such as Third Watch, Southland, Turner and Hooch and currently is on NCIS Hawaii.
Outside the gym Levi helps judge gymnastics for the Special Olympics, enjoys playing drums, baking, and is passionate about social justice and gender equality.
